Yesterday I became very curious.  I took a drive to Rotterdam and the surrounding area to see if I could get some photos.  Here was the surprising result

First I drove right to one of the hardest hit areas in Schenectady County -Rotterdam-  and tried (while driving) to  grab a few pix.  I didn't get far.

I did find this tree.  That was prettyamazing.  Let's see if there's more out there

I wanted to go down this road, but they wouldn't let me.

I saw tons of traffic, but no damage.  Not a very good investigative report so far, huh?

I did happen to pass this gentleman working really hard to chop up the pieces that fell.

Ironically, I saw more intense damage in my home town of Niskayuna.  There was a lady standing by this garage, taking pictures of the damage (possibly for insurance reasons)  I asked if I could interview her but she declined.   I felt really bad for her.  She had just had her 100 year old house completely re-sided, and THIS happened!

This was the worst.  This poor person's car- buried, right in Niskayuna

Well, that was the result of my travels. Who got it worst?  Seems like Niskayuna had just as much of a problem as Rotterdam from my meager survey of homes.   I really hope that everyone recovers quickly from this.   It came out of nowhere, didn't it?
