More Snow On Tap For Capital Region, Upstate New York This Wednesday
While we have yet to get that first huge storm of the season, Old Man WInter is waking up and the cycle of snowmakers is building momentum with more snow accumulation on the way mid-week.
Maybe like me, you are eagerly anticipating that first huge snowstorm of the year. While we won't see feet of snow this week, winter is warming up (Or should I say cooling off?) with another storm coming our way next week.
Weather Channel Is Calling For Snow On Wednesday
The Weather Channel says we have a couple of storms that are working their way to the Northeastern United States. The first of those will be coming through Upstate New York Sunday into Monday and will just bring rain to most of the air. The second storm that is coming Wednesday will bring a good little chunk of snow depending on where you live in the Capital Region.
How Much Snow Will We Get?
In the Albany area, forecasters are calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow, and areas to the north like Lake George could get 3 to 5 inches. It looks like most of Upstate New York will get some snow with this one, with accumulation varying depending on where you live.
The nice thing about these storms we are getting right now is they are bringing just enough snow to make things look pretty and get you in the holiday spirit. We will take a little snowy inconvenience this time of year to get in the Christmas spirit, right?
