Back in November, I had a story about a local counterfeit ring, and now there’s another one.

This time, the ring was busted by the Bethlehem Police Department.

For the past two months, two 21-year-old suspects allegedly used counterfeit $20 dollar bills to purchase small merchandise items in some local businesses. They were accused of pocketing the change.

Colonie Police, Albany Police and the U.S. Secret Service were also involved in the investigation, which led to the arrest of Umar Davis and Zhaine Davis. According to the story that I saw in WNYT, they were remanded to the Albany County Jail, and will be back in court sometime next week.
