Colonie Mom Pleads for Help as Vulnerable Son Remains Missing

One can't even imagine the sheer horror of realizing that your child has gone missing. A mom in Colonie is experiencing this right now with her 23-year-old son, considered a vulnerable adult, and last seen on Thursday in Connecticut.
According to the Colonie Police, they are seeking the public's assistance in locating Gary Washburn, and have asked residents to contact the department if they have any information or have seen Mr. Washburn.
Police believe that Washburn, who is autistic, might be suicidal and in need of medical attention. Below is some of the latest info that police and family have released so far - anyone with info is asked to call the Colonie Police.

"The Colonie Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating this missing person. Mr. Washburn lives in Colonie, but may have possibly traveled to the Connecticut area. Mr. Washburn may be in need of medical attention or other services." Colonie Police Dept

A Facebook post shared by Gary's mom claims that Gary was last seen in Canaan Connecticut on January 25th and that he was driving a grey 2007 Saab, that may be towing a dolly.
One of Trish Washburn's Facebook posts claims that while he was last seen in Canaan CT, he could also be near Cornwall, CT which is just 10 miles away.
