As if our local law enforcement doesn't have enough things to worry about, an absolute basket-case from Albany attempted to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Wal-Mart.  When apprehended, she spit on a security officer and claimed to have the coronavirus.

According to News 10 ABC and the East Greenbush police, Latoya Fordham of Albany was apprehended on April 3rd for attempting to steal from the East Greenbush Wal-Mart.  When she was approached by security, she spit on the individual and claimed to have the coronavirus.

She wasn't done there.  After security locked themselves in the office, Fordham tried to gain entrance into their office by kicking the door down. 

In a statement by the East Greenbush Police Department, they acknowledge that times are tough and even though the world is "flipped upside down", local law enforcement is out there 24/7 to protect and serve.  They also ask to please not "steal in East Greenbush and definitely don't Spit on others."

Fordham was charged, among other things with making a terrorist threat.
