We always take pictures of rainbows and share them on social media after it rains but those pictures could bring joy to a little boy in Cohoes.

Robert (Robbie) Ecuyer is a young boy who lives in Cohoes and lost both of his parents recently. His Mother died after a long battle with gastroparesis and cystic fibrosis in May and his Father died of an overdose just a few weeks later. Robbie's Aunt Crystal is now is legal guardian.

Robbie understand that his parents aren't coming back but doesn't fully comprehend exactly why, paired with the fact that he has Autism, his Aunt has to explain it a different way. She said that his parents have gone over the Rainbow Bridge together and can't come back. Now, Robbie is obsessed with rainbows, even standing outside waiting for them.

His Aunt posted on Facebook asking for #RainbowsForRobbie. According to Kristi Gustafson Barlette of the Times Union, she wants to compile a book of rainbows so he can see them whenever he wants from all over the world. The post has over 1500 shares and over 1400 comments of rainbows from as far as Australia and Asia.
