An unusual early-autumn nor'easter is bringing a mix of snow, rain and slush to our listening area. While many people are bummed that an early storm has ruined our Halloween weekend, I'm the crazy person who pulled out the Christmas CDs when the snow started to fall.  I love Country Christmas music, especially the originals like 'Christmas In Dixie' by Alabama, 'If We Make It Through December' by Merle Haggard, 'Two Step 'Round The Christmas Tree' by Suzy Bogguss and 'How Do I Wrap My Heart Up For Christmas' by Randy Travis.  These are just a few of the hundreds of Country Christmas albums I've collected over the years.

Although I love the twang infused holiday tunes, is it too early to be listening? Am I the only one who just can't wait to hear Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's 'Once Upon A Christmas' and Alan Jackson's 'Honky  Tonk Christmas' collection, that I would dig them out and play them in October?

What's your favorite holiday album and when will you start listening to holiday music?
