Kids Water Bottles Recalled [PIC]
There has been a recall of nearly six million kids' water bottles. Chances are if your child has a water bottle, this one is among those being voluntarily recalled. According to Parents.com, major water bottle company, Contigo, has recalled their popular "Kids Cleanable Water Bottles". The five-point seven million bottles were sold at Target, Costco, and Walmart.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission states that a clear silicone spout could detach from the lids. This could cause a choking hazard for children and toddlers. They were sold in a variety of designs and colors from April 2018 through June 2019. They come in three different sizes: thirteen, fourteen and twenty ounces.
Contigo is urging consumers to stop using them and order a free replacement lid. You can call the consumer team at 1-888.262.0622. Contigo also released information on how to examine your water bottle to see if it's one being recalled. No injuries have been reported.
