John Henson Son Of Muppets Creator, Jim Henson, Dead at 48

This has a local twist, because John Henson, according to the Times Union.com, passed away in Saugerties, NY

He is the son of the creator of perhaps the most popular kiddie show in history, the Muppets.

John Henson has passed away at the young age of 48.  I guess he was building an igloo in the snow with his kids when he succumbed to a heart attack.

He was a puppeteer and provided the voice for one of the characters.   What a loss!!!
