Hudson New York Named One of the Best Antique Capitals In America
Is the antique capital of the world in the Hudson Valley of New York State? Possibly! One particular town has been named one of the best Antique Capitals in the United States, so you'd have to say it is in the running.
According to Islands, Hudson, NY is one of the Antique Capitals of the United States and I have to agree. I have spent a fair amount of time exploring the "friendly city" and, in addition to great restaurants and shops, there are plenty of antique gems for you to find.

My favorite place to search for antiques in Hudson, NY has to be the Antique Warehouse. This place literally is a warehouse filled with a wide variety of antiques. Everything from tables to taxidermy, clothes to cabinets and anything else you can imagine.
You can find the Antique Warehouse at 99 Front Street, Hudson. Scroll down to see a collection of pictures I took from a recent visit to the warehouse. You won't believe all they have to offer.
In the center of town you will find dozens of antique dealers along Warren Street. Here are a few choices:
- Bridge House Vintage
- Ida's Eye
- Cooper and Company
- Magic Hill
- La Maison Supreme
All of this antiquing will make you hungry and Hudson, NY has several really good food options. Here are a few that are my favorite spots to return to.
- Le Perche Bakery & Bar - 230 Warren Street
- Kitty's - 60 South Front Street
- Rivertown Lodge - 731 Warren Street
