Spirit Of Halloween Reveals New Clifton Park Location

I know EXACTLY what is running through your mind right now.

My first reaction was "WAY TOO EARLY!" when I saw the sign in the photo above. But that is the retail world we live in. If you are first, ya probably get a leg up on the competition when it comes to anything seasonal.

That is why  I was not surprised to see the HUGE Spirit of Halloween banner hanging on the side of the old Rite Aid Pharmacy location on the corner of Routes 9 and 146 in my hometown of Clifton Park.

All told this year, Spirit of Halloween will have 10 locations in the Capital Region, including Halfmoon, Troy, Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga, Amsterdam, Queensbury, Hudson, and two stores in Colonie. You can see the full list of locations on the Spirit of Halloween website, which says all of these stores plan to open in August.

While we are still living in a world of beach toys, flip-flops, and sunscreen with 3 kids in our house, witches, goblins, and ghosts trick-or-treating around our neighborhood just feels like it is still light years away.

Fall foliage, flannel, cider donuts galore, pumpkin spice, and yes, Halloween will be here before we know it. I guess we just need to accept the early signs of one of Upstate New York's most beautiful seasons. Happy Way Too Early Thinking of Fall! ;)
