Interesting Facts About Uber’s First 6 Months In Albany
I was a little leery and didn't buy into the hype at first, but I'll admit I love having Uber in the Capital Region. After 6 months of local operation, the ride-hailing company released some some very interesting data about the top places people go and just how far one Albany Uber user traveled to get the heck outta here!
According to the Daily Gazette here are the top 10 local places people using Uber travel to:
- Saratoga Springs
- Crossgates Mall
- University at Albany
- Greyhound bus station
- Saratoga Race Course
- Pearl Street Pub
- The City Beer Hall
- Siena College
- Collins Circle
- Saratoga Performing Arts Center
Also, I found it very interesting to note that out of Albany, the longest trip taken was 413 miles to Clarksburg, Maryland. How much could that have cost and what driver decided to take the trip? Kiss the wife and kids goodbye, "See you all in 4 days, I'm going to take the car out and make a few extra dollars...Side Hustle!"
Meanwhile, the average rider rating was 4.88 while the average driver rating was 4.84
