It has been tough enough for New York Giants fans watching Saquon Barkley lead the Eagles back to the Superbowl, yet the Empire State Building added insult to injury Sunday!

To say it has been a tough year for New York Giants fans would be an understatement.

Not only did they have to endure another horrendous losing season, Gaints fans had to watch their team's best player leave in free agency for an arch-division rival and then have an all-time great season.

Losing Saquon Barkley was tough enough, and then seeing him run over the whole NFL this season was simply difficult to watch. The fact he did that for the hated Eagles made it one thousand times worse to stomach. And oh yeah, then Giants fans had to swallow the pill of watching the Eagles advance to the Superbowl this weekend.

You would think at that point the Giants fan's pain for the season would at least be on pause until having to watch Saquon and the Eagles in the Superbowl in a couple of weeks.

And then it happened, one more twist of the knife from a city and an icon that should show no love for the despised Eagles!

The Empire State Building Goes Green To Honor The Philadelphia Eagles

Yes, our beloved symbol of all things New York wore Eagles green last night to recognize the Eagle championship win.

Now, they also went red to honor the Chiefs, but it still does not make it right.

The crazy thing is, the Empire State Building also went green to honor the Eagles when they made their Superbowl 2 years ago!

I guess building officials did not get the message when fans blasted this decision back in 2023.

Let's hope after the Superbowl they don't add more insult to injury!
