Close to home and right on the way to Boston. I've passed it a million times before and always said, "I need to go there!"

It took my family asking me what I wanted to do as a belated birthday experience, that's when it hit me.

The only thing I could think to do: The Basketball Hall of Fame.

I've been a basketball fan for as long as I can remember. The simple fact of life though is at times I've let that fandom sit on the backburner because things were just too busy to watch the games. So, back in the Fall when I was doing everything to focus on "me" for a change, I really started to pay attention again while I would be at the gym, on the treadmill.

Watching, I fell back in love with the game as a whole. Cheering on the New York Knicks, regardless of their horrible record; remembering all the games I watched growing up with the amazing movements of Michael Jordan, being just as amazed this season watching Steph Curry's 3-point magic.

So, when my parents wanted to treat their "kid" on her birthday, as busy as I've been since starting at GNA, the one thing that came to mind was the Basketball Hall of Fame.

It's only about an hour and change from the Capital Region in Springfield, Massachusetts and is very cool for anyone that's ever enjoyed the sport, even if just a little. Here's my video experience to show you just a little of what the Hall of Fame holds. Hope you check it out and enjoy it as much as my family and I did!
