Harlem Globetrotters Announce Return To New York’s Capital Region

Forget the '25 Knicks, the Harlem Globetrotters are the greatest show on the court. They've been wowing audiences with their signature brand of basketball for the last 100 years, and they're back for their 101st with even more.

Capital Region residents will have not one but two chances to see the infamous team the way they've never been seen before...

Who are the Globetrotters?

Founded in 1926, the Harlem Globetrotters are a one-of-a-kind sporting event. The team is full of some of the most talented athletes on earth, playing a mix of true basketball and performance art. This could include diving off of ladders for a dunk, spinning the ball on their head for a pass, or just doing a backflip over the opposing defender.

Their shows have followed a similar formula for most of their career, but 2026 looks to be a big improvement. The 2027 edition will be titled: Harlem Globetrotters: Rivalry Tour, and will feature all new players, games, and challenges, including new fan participation.
