With a high of 60 today in Albany, is the worst of winter officially behind us?

Doubtful. According to a Weather Channel report, after a pretty warm January and February we can expect more normal temperatures for March. While we do have potential for some temps slightly above normal, it looks like March will come in like a lion.

Previous Weather Channel models were calling for mild temperatures, following the trend that was set so far this winter. But as we know all to well, the weather in Upstate New York is anything but predictable. And as you know, trends mean nothing to Old Man Winter.

So it you love to ski, snowboard or snowmobile it ain't over yet. And if you are aching for that first warm stretch of Spring and are let down, no complaining. You have had it pretty good this winter!
