GNA Hot Shots: Jason Aldean Welcomed Back as Fans Pack SPAC!
Thousands of country music fans, once again, packed SPAC Sunday for the Highway Desperado Tour with Corey Kent, Mitchell Tenpenny, and headline superstar Jason Aldean.
Highway Desperado Tour Hits Saratoga Springs
It was a humid afternoon in the Saratoga State Park on Sunday while thousands of Jason Aldean fans packed the SPAC parking lot to prep their pre-show tailgate parties. The threat of rain loomed, but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits - if fact, the brief storm we got a few hours before the start of the show was quite welcomed, as it provided a respite from the thick, smothering humidity.
By the time the show started and the large crowd filed in, the weather was perfect for a great night of country music, and the stars delivered.
Corey Kent, Mitchel Tenpenny, and Jason Aldean
The evening started with a high-energy set from country newcomer Corey Kent, who may have surprised some fans with a perfectly-polished 30-minute set that included his smash "Wild as Her", as well as a Beetles cover of "Come Together".
Mitchell Tenpenny was next, and he provided a slew of hits such as "At the End of the Bar", "Drunk Me" and a cover of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls which the thousands in attendance ate up!
By 9:20, the fired-up Saratoga crowd was ready for the star of the Highway Desperado Tour, Jason Aldean. And JA didn't disappoint.

Just a day after Aldean cut short his set in Hartford due to heat exhaustion, Aldean fans cheered and sang as he ripped through 23 of his biggest hits, which included show-opener "Tough Crowd" and encore song "She's Country".
