Final Steps For New Sonic Drive-In Restaurant

There are only a few more approvals needed for the brand new Sonic Drive-In to open in Saratoga County. The planning board must approve the final details for the new fast food restaurant. The third Sonic Drive-In will be built in Clifton Park in a plaza just off of Route 146. There is another planning meeting to be held on June 12th to determine drive thru areas, landscaping and traffic patterns near the plaza around the restaurant. According to the Daily Gazette, the development company will present the final plans to the town planning board to seek final approval.

If all goes well, the fast food restaurant should open in September. Sonic Drive-In will employ nearly seventy five people and will be a one million dollar investment into the Clifton Park area.

The planning meeting is open to the public on June 12th at 7pm.
