Columbia High School Takes Early Lead in Hunger Games [Photos]

When Columbia High School in East Greenbush signed up for our Hunger Games, I knew they were gonna be a serious contender! And I was definitely correct! I had the pleasure of stopping by their Homecoming Week Powder Puff Football Game last night where they were busy collecting nonperishable food items for our competition.

The school spirit that was oozing out of everyone through the gates had me reminiscing of my own high school days, and all of the staff, kids, and parents at Columbia should be so proud of the food collected last night!

Big smiles accompanied the even bigger piles of food for needy Capital District families!

Thanks to Ms. Conner, Ms. Boggie and Principal Sawchuck for the invite! Good Luck Columbia! You're off to a great start! And good luck to the other schools, Columbia is a force to be reckoned with!
