Clifton Park Chick-fil-A Moooving Forward-When Will it Open? [PICS]
We haven't heard much about the Chick-fil-A that is being built in Clifton Park but now we know when we can expect it to open. It now has the approval to begin construction.
Why Has it Taken So Long?
The Town of Clifton Park Deputy Supervisor Anthony Morelli said that the Town was very concerned about the additional traffic in that area of Clifton Park that is already congested according to CBS 6 Albany. He also said that,
As a town, we scrutinized very heavily because of the additional traffic it would bring into the area. They were really set on that location and we're happy they were set on that location, but we wanted to make sure they got the traffic patterns right and I think we did it, it's gonna be busy.
When Will The Construction Begin?
That is up to Chick-fil-A. Because all of the permits are filed and the go-ahead has been given from the town, it is up to the restaurant on when they will tear down the old Pier 1 building and break ground on the new Chick-fil-A.
When Can We Expect the New Clifton Park Chick-fil-A to Open?
If construction begins, it looks like we will have a Clifton Park Chick-fil-A in March or April of 2023.
We also heard that there is a second Chick-fil-A being built in North Greenbush at the same time the Clifton Park Chick-fil-A will be built.
