Shake Shack Coming Soon to Saratoga County

If you are a fan of burgers, fries, and milkshakes, there is some exciting news brewing in Clifton Park.

Shake Shack appears to be making its way to Clifton Country Road as the popular restaurant chain continues to grow its presence in the Capital Region.

Where Will The New Shake Shack Be?

The location is part of Village Plaza, right across from Clifton Park Center. If you are familiar with the area, it is the spot where Blaze Pizza was located before it closed earlier this year. CoreLife Eatery remains right next door.

While an official opening date has not been announced, there are plenty of signs that something is happening. According to the Albany Business Review, Shake Shack has posted job openings for the address, including positions for managers and shift leaders.

Changes Are Happening

Construction crews have also been busy at the site. Drivers passing by may have noticed equipment outside and work taking place inside. Even the building's exterior has gotten a fresh new look.

When it opens, the Clifton Park restaurant will become Shake Shack's second full-service location in the Capital Region. The company's first local restaurant is expected to open soon at Stuyvesant Plaza in Guilderland, taking over part of the former TGI Fridays space.

Although this would be the chain's first location in Clifton Park, Shake Shack is not entirely new to the area. Racing fans have enjoyed its seasonal stand at Saratoga Race Course for years, and travelers have likely spotted locations at New York State Thruway service plazas.
