Many families throughout the Capital Region have done some incredible Halloween decorating on their homes this year. As rough as the pandemic has been at times, it also seems to have inspired many people as well.  More and more of us are giving back, spreading some joy, acting in a kinder gentler way and are more philanthropic than ever.  In addition, the past several months may have also gotten people's creative juices flowing.  As we've seen and even showcased here at WGNA, many area homes are all decked out in the spooky, creepy, and haunted spirit of the season. But there's no place quite like this home that we're about to show you from Guilderland.

Ellen Lombardi went all-out decorating her Guilderland home creating a skeletal Wizard of Oz themed Halloween display.  She even took it one step further down the yellow brick road by attaching a philanthropic touch.  On her Facebook page she encourages people to drive by and check it out and also adds, "If you enjoy my display, please consider making a donation to our fundraiser for the Guilderland Food Pantry. . No amount is too small! There’s no place like home.....especially in 2020."

Take a look at the incredible work she did recreating costumes and characters from the Wizard of Oz.  We think you'll agree, there's no place like it.
