Celebrate ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ in The Real Bedford Falls In Upstate New York
Step into the magic of the holidays at The Real Bedford Falls in Upstate New York. It's a magical place where you can be part of the iconic Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life."
From December 13th through the 15th, the charming town of Seneca Falls transforms into a wonderland of nostalgia, hosting its annual It’s a Wonderful Life Festival. Inspired by the beloved holiday classic many believe was based on this town, the three-day extravaganza has over 100 festive events guaranteed to fill your heart with joy.
What’s Happening?
The festival kicks off with a Friday night bonfire, a crackling celebration that sets the perfect cozy tone. Then put on your sneakers for Saturday’s famous It’s a Wonderful Run 5K, where runners dash through the picturesque streets decked out in holiday cheer. Wrap it all up with Sunday’s crowd-favorite Uncle Billy’s Wonderful Scavenger Hunt open to all ages.
A New Star Attraction
This year, don’t miss “Lights, Camera, Action!”, a brand-new activity where you get to channel your inner George Bailey or Zuzu. Recreate iconic scenes from the movie and compete for the ultimate prize: $100 and bragging rights as Bedford Falls’ finest.
Meet the Stars!
Adding to the excitement, cast members Karolyn Grimes (aka Zuzu Bailey) and Jimmy Hawkins (Tommy Bailey) will be there. Get their autographs, hear behind-the-scenes stories, and feel like you’re part of the movie magic.
Endless Festive Fun
Whether you’re taking a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride, snapping selfies with costumed characters, or watching a screening of It’s a Wonderful Life, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
