It's hard enough as an adult to be diagnosed with something like diabetes, but imagine it happening before you can say more than "kitty" or "cracker."
I've officially been at 107-7 GNA for just over a month now and within that month I've had the pleasure of a lot of firsts for my radio career. Today is no different and I can't wait to be a part of it!
He's learning how to walk. He can say a handful of words including his favorite word, "cracker." He brings smiles everywhere he goes. And he's learning how to control his blood sugar. He only turned one year old in February. His name is Grayson and he has Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.
This was a very important interview from an organization that could certainly use your help and donations. They endured a horrible incident a week before Christmas, no less. How ironic that a crisis intervention center has to deal with a crisis of their own!

There are some top-shelf teachers in the Capital Region. I think I've visited all of the elementary instructors in my 20 years of doing this program. I guess I'm not a nice enough person. I try to give whenever I can to the Police Benevolent Assn and other charities. We try to do our part, but I guess not enough when you consider what some people do, including a well known New York politician.
