It's amazing to see people all over this area who do things and get such little recognition from the media.  Well, we're about to change that.  Meet Brandon Smith. I had the chance to meet him on this edition of Capital Region Sunday. Brandon does a ton of work, along with other local firefighters for Toys For Tots.  In fact, they are so committed to this organization, they've decided to set up a good old fashioned "Convoy" through local towns.  You may see it coming!

In fact the Victory Mills Fire Dept is jointing the convoy along with other emergency services.  The Fire Dept will be collecting new unwrapped toys at the Victory Mills Village Office to help less fortunate kids this holiday season.  The ending date to collect these toys is November 27th.   That's basically a summary of the interview I did with Brandon, but I want you to hear him anyway.  You'll get a sense of his commitment to the cause.

If you have a charity event that you would like to promote on not only one but multiple local radio stations, you too can be a guest on Capital Region Sunday.  Again, you must be a registered charity in the greater Capital Region.  Send your information to Richie@wgna.com
