Cancer Survivor Incredibly Wins Thomas Rhett M & G’s (AUDIO)

Perhaps you heard it live on Friday morning, or maybe you heard someone talking about the contest Chrissy and I had on GNA. We gave away Thomas Rhett meet and greets all week to listeners able to answer 3 questions correctly about Thomas Rhett.  In a twist of beautiful fate, Jim Calhoun from Gansevoort was able to get through and play the game on-air Friday morning. Jim is a cancer survivor who credits Thomas Rhett's song 'Life Changes' as the driving force that inspired him to beat the disease that was trying to destroy his life.  Before he played the game with us, he told us how he listened to that song every day while he was in the hospital it helped him remain optimistic that he would conquer Leukemia.  And here he was, on the air with us, three questions away from meeting his musical idol.  Spoiler alert: There wasn't a dry eye in the studio, or in cars on Friday morning.  Listen to the dramatic contest here as it played out on GNA.
