The Capital Region we could really use a moment or two of Spring to get us through the never ending Winter!  The Snowman in Troy opened up this past weekend and many more of our favorite local ice cream spots are on the horizon as well.  Here are 6 of the area's best ice cream places and when they'll be open in 2018.

Kurver Kreme in Albany is set to start serving on March 19th.

Jim's Tastee Freez in Delmar started dishin' over the weekend and they're open!

Curry Freeze in Rotterdam thaws out on St. Patty's Day, March 17th.

Country Drive-In Clifton Park welcoming y'all back on March 28th.

Martha's Dandee Creme in Queensbury dishes up the delights on March 24th

Jumpin Jacks Drive-In in Scotia will have us jumpin for joy on March 29th

Guptill's Coney Island Express in Latham serves up their giant sized cones and sundaes either this Saturday March 10th or March 17th (weather permitting)
