Americade Reveals Two Day Block Party Details

Many new changes are coming to Americade this year in Lake George. One of the highlights is a two day block party that happens next week.  Over 200,000 motorcycle enthusiasts will descend on Lake George starting next week and organizers have added many more attractions to keep them entertained. Next Friday and Saturday June 8th and 9th, the biggest new feature is the first ever block party.

There will be a stage set up for bands to play near Shepard Park with The Mallet Brothers, Eastbound Jesus, Kat Wright, Big Sky Country and Cousins Earth will all perform.

There are also free motorcycle stunt shows. Phil Smage, who was on America's Got Talent, is a three-time X Games champion and will be performing a show during the block party along with The Busted Knuckles. You can expect to see them do feats including wheelies, acrobatics, burnouts, jumps and plenty of pyrotechnics.

Plus you can enjoy plenty of craft beer from across the region.
