Get Ready For Fall With The Altamont Harvest And Wine Festival
Fall is, without a doubt, my favorite season. The color of the leaves, that crisp feeling in the air, and the smell of cinnamon everywhere are what make the twilight season special.
As Upstate New York prepares itself for the harsh winter, it's important to celebrate the autumn months where everything feels more magical. If you want to get your fill of it, Altamont's the place to start.
The Altamont harvest and Wine Festival
On Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, the Altamont Fairgrounds will be buzzing with the sights and sounds of the autumn season. This event brings fun for the whole family, from a kids zone with haunted farmhouses and hayrides, to wine tastings from dozens of the Capital region's top wineries.
Need to start decorating for the fall? No worries! The Altamont Fair Country Store will be selling pumpkins, gourds, and fall produce to ensure you get into the harvest spirit as soon as possible.
