Now with schools being closed until at least April 15th, the Albany City School District is looking for nearly two hundred volunteers to help keep the kids fed. Here's how you can help. According to CBS 6 News, the Albany City Schools are looking to extend their delivery and "grab and go" meal program for the week of March 30th through April 3rd. They are looking for one hundred eighty more volunteers to help.

It is being organized by Christ's Church of Albany. There are a couple of different opportunities for you to help. First, they are looking for helpers at six different locations. They are Albany High, Hackett Middle School, Giffen Elementary, Tony Clement, ASH, and Arbor Hill Elementary School. They need 3 volunteers per site for each day. They will report at the main entrance of the respective schools they sign up for.

The next opportunity is meals delivered to homes from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm. All meals will be delivered using school buses. They need eighteen volunteers each day with two volunteers assigned to each bus. The point place will be Arbor Hill Elementary School. All volunteers will meet and return here.
