There is nothing that could have prepared these elementary school cafeteria workers for what they found in a shipment of bananas at an Upstate New York primary school. One of them discovered a scorpion and it was alive!
Governor Kathy Hochul announced that the New York School mask mandates will end this Wednesday, March 2nd. This means that children can now go to school without wearing face coverings. This also means on the bus, in classrooms, and during recess.
We all know that teachers are the backbone of our communities in molding and shaping our kids. But there is a serious shortage of teachers and my alma matter is switching it up a little to make sure the substitute teaching jobs are filled. They are thinking outside the box.
