Sam's Chinese Restaurant on Route 50 in Burnt Hills has decided it is time to close. They announced it on Labor Day in a heartfelt post on their Facebook page.

The owners, Sam and Ling So, decided to retire, expressing their deep gratitude to the loyal customers who turned their dreams into reality. They wrote:

It has been a pleasure serving our community and we appreciate every single customer for making our dreams come true. We will cherish the great memories and friends we’ve made along the way. We can’t thank you enough for the love and support you’ve shown our family throughout the years!

The couple had been fixtures in the restaurant industry for 35 years, with Sam's Chinese Restaurant being their pride and joy since they opened in the summer of 1997.
