The annual wine and food gathering has been rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is pretty much a daily occurence these days. Another great, local event has been rescheduled due to ongoing concerns over COVID-19. The good news though is we are talking a reschedule, and not a cancellation.

According to a Daily Gazette report, the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival will now be taking place the weekend September 26 and 27 at the Festival Commons located in Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George. The event was originally scheduled to take place in June. Festival organizers told the Gazette they 'remain hopeful' the event will go on as planned in September as long as there are no regulations that would keep it from happening.

That is the big question mark with all these big events right now as the state looks to reopen in phases: when will it be safe to gather in very large crowds again and when will that be allowed to happen? Only time will tell;let's just keep our fingers crossed we are sipping on reds and whites in Lake George in September.
