9-Year-Old with Cancer Wants Christmas Cards [PHOTO]
Some of us lose the appreciation for Christmas and what it really means in the midst of shopping sales and wrapping paper. While you're getting ready for the holidays, remember this 9-year-old who may not see another Christmas.
9-year-old Jacob Thompson was diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, according to SunnySkyz.com, in February 2014. A few weeks ago, doctors delivered the unfortunate news that Jacob will not be able to leave the hospital and only has a month to live.
Jacob's favorite holiday is Christmas so his family decided to "fast-forward" Christmas to give him one more to celebrate. They've already decorated his hospital room in lights, fake snow, and decorations. Now, they're asking for cards. They did this once before for Halloween and each card just brightened his day so they're doing it again. He has already received over 100 cards in the first 5 days from all over the world.
If you're interested in sending a card to Jacob,
