I read on someone's Facebook wall this week the following information and I thought I'd pass it along because I found it fascinating yet extremely bazaar.  Let me know if this information doesn't apply to you because you will be the first person this has not worked on.First, a little background on why the year is already slightly creepy.  Over the course of 2011, we will have four days in the year with only the number "1."  You will write down 1/1/11; 1/11/11; 11/1/11; and 11/11/11.  Weird, right?  Not only are those dates hard to read when they're all lined up like that, but I'm sure they will be hard to say.

Okay, so here's the real weirdo fact about the year 2011.  Take the last two digits of the year you were born.  Got it?  Now that you have that double digit number, add how old you are going to turn this year on your birthday (2011 -- not necessarily how old you are currently).  What do you get?  Was it the lucky sum of 111?  I bet it was!  What's even more weird, is it works with everyone.

We had a company party last night and it was quite the conversation starter.  I never use to believe the end of the world could be near, but I'm beginning to think that if I were to bet a particular year, my money is on 2011.  How does the music from the Twilight Zone go again? Dooo-dooo-doooo-doooo. Dooo-dooo-dooo-dooo.
