You Can Fish For Free At Albany’s Six Mile Waterworks

Here's something new and different - the state is offering a FiSHING FREEBEE! 

According to the TimesUnion.com, you can fish on Monday, April 14th for free at the Rennselaer Lake in the city of Albany's Six Mile Waterworks.   The fun begins at 9:30am.

The DEC will even teach you how to fish correctly, and you will have plenty of chances to catch the big one - they are stocking the Waterworks with 1,600 rainbow trout!

It's located right off of  Fuller Road between Washington and Central Avenue.

So now you can put a big "Gone Fishin'" sign on your office door and take the day off, right?  (I'm thinking of putting it on my piano for when my morning show cohorts walk in tomorrow!
