WWE Hall of Famer, Cousin to The Rock, to Meet with Fans in Albany
WWE Hall of Famer to Meet Fans in Albany
If you follow the WWE, much of the storyline for years has been centered around its previous champion, Roman Reigns, and "The Bloodline."
Until recently, Reigns had been the WWE undisputed heavyweight champion, and The Bloodline was the "villainous" professional wrestling group that was led by Roman Reigns and also (at one point or another) featured Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, The Rock and others, who are all members of the renowned Anoaʻi family.
Rikishi to be in Albany on April 21st
Solofa Fatu Jr., the father of Jey and Jimmy Uso, is best known for his ring name Rikishi, and he'll be at Heroes Hideway inside Crossgates Mall on Sunday, April 21st from 11 am to 1 pm signing autographs and merch for $20 while meeting with fans.
Rikishi, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time World Tag Team Champion, and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his sons, wrestlers Jey and Jimmy Uso, in 2015.
Is Rikishi Related to the Rock?
Pro wrestling fans have been told for years that Rikishi is the distant cousin to Roman Reigns and The Rock. However, some dispute the accuracy of this claim despite the narrative by WWE scriptwriters who have long linked The Rock and Reigns to the Anoaʻi family.
Whether they are distant cousins or not, one thing is for certain; Rikishi's character remains as memorable today as it was 20 years ago in WWE's "attitude era" which produced some of the biggest stars in its history like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Kane, and more.
The Stink Face
Rikishi is known for his signature move, the Stink Face, in which he rubs his butt into the faces of opposing wrestlers in the corner of the ring. Before administering the move, Rikishi would slap his buttocks to indicate the attack, and then he would turn around, hike his thong up, and smother his buttocks into his victim's face.
