“Walking In Memphis” Revisited [AUDIO]

This is a sequel to my other blog about one of the funniest/most embarrassing things that has happened to me in a very long time.  I don't know if any of you have experienced this mix-up.  It actually ended up working to my advantage, oddly enough.  Let me tell you about it in song!

I guess the song is self explanatory.  If there was any big laugh to come out of a sad situation, this was it.  If you are not familiar with the song "Walking In Memphis", it was originally written and recorded by an amazing singer-songwriter, Marc Cohn. The lyrics are brilliant.   It was later redone "country style" by Lonestar.  Here is their version from YouTube

Love that version too!  Maybe I should leave well enough alone, but the parody begged to be written.   I dedicate this to all the great staff members I met from St. Jude who took turns ribbing me about my fashion "fail".

I guess you can make lemonade out of lemons if you try hard, and hopefully I succeeded.  What was the biggest goof up you've ever done?  Would love to know
