If you’re looking for a peaceful summer getaway, some familiar Upstate New York destinations are getting national attention.

USA Today 10 Best has nominated three New York farm stays in its latest readers' poll, highlighting the best farm stays in America.

The poll recognizes destinations that combine scenic settings, cozy accommodations, authentic agricultural experiences, welcoming hosts, and fresh farm-to-table food.

3 in NY Nominated for Best in the USA

One local favorite earning national recognition is June Farms in West Sand Lake. Known for its Highland cows, Shire horses, Nigerian dwarf goats, and unique overnight stays, the property features everything from lakeside farmhouses to Airstreams and even a Hobbit House. June Farms was also featured in its own eight-episode reality series on Amazon Prime Video.

Also making the list is Kinderhook Farm in Valatie. The working Hudson Valley farm gives guests a chance to experience pasture-raised farming up close while staying in a quiet guesthouse overlooking the property.

Further south, Stony Creek Farmstead in the Catskills was recognized for its glamping-style accommodations featuring canvas tents, farm animals, organic gardens, and meals built around ingredients grown on-site.

Voting is now open through June 22nd, with winners scheduled to be announced on July 1st.
