UAlbany Women Head to Syracuse for NCAA Tournament

The University at Albany women’s basketball team will hit the hardwood close to home this week for the NCAA Tournament.

March Madness is getting underway and the Great Danes will take on the Florida Gators in Syracuse this Friday at Noon. They earned a 12 seed, their highest ever according to News 10's Joshua Rutlenberg. He got some video of the team's reaction to seeing the news:

It's a great time to be a hoops fan in Albany. The UAlbany women will play on, and the UAlbany and Siena men's teams will both play in the College Basketball Invitational Tournament.
