Two Women Steal A TV – Give Cops Bogus Names

East Greenbush Police arrested two Albany women after they allegedly walked out of the Rensselaer Walmart with a 50 inch tv without paying for it.

To make matters worse, the women gave police the false names.

According to a press release from the East Greenbush Police Department, 21-year-old Delana E. Jacobs and 46-year-old Debra Ann Singletary are facing burglary charges, False Personalization and Forgery Second Degree charges.

Police discovered that the women allegedly didn’t give their correct names when an automated report rejected the phony names. It was then revealed that they actually had a prior criminal record. The women both had bail set at five-thousand dollars and sent to Rensselaer County Jail. They’re scheduled to be at a hearing on Tuesday.
