TSA Snags 20-Pound Lobster in Boston Aiport – Must See! [PHOTO]
Here we are all on a summer season high. Getting ready for all the vacations to come. If you're like me you might not be going far, but thankfully we are surrounded by some amazing places all within a couple hours of our beautiful Capital Region.
That being said, if you go somewhere that you have the ability to catch a lobster, did you know that it is apparently okay to shove that sucker right in your luggage and head on a plane? Yeah, me either. But, according to TSA agent Michael McCarthy who spoke with the Boston Globe, he said, "I cannot speak to any airline policies, but TSA has no prohibition on transporting lobsters. It's actually fairly common in the New England area."
I can't believe this, I'm sure the TSA agent couldn't either, even though common, this lobster was 20-pounds! Don't worry, the lobster wasn't shoved in a suitcase or anything but was living comfy in a cooler and according to McCarthy, he cooperated kindly with the inspection.
