Missing from Troy, please keep your eyes open as far north as Saratoga Springs for Trishtian Knight who has been missing since Tuesday.

The City of Troy Police Department is asking people to be on the lookout for a 15-year-old boy who they say has been missing since approximately 7 PM on Tuesday night.  That's when they say Trishtian Knight rode off on his purple bicycle (pictured in the post below) from the Bessey Home at Vanderheyden, 250 Spring Avenue in Troy, and has yet to return.  While they say he has ridden off in the past, he normally returns a short time later.

Police say that 15-year-old Trishtian is developmentally disabled and could be without his medication, leading him to become disoriented or confused.   They believe he was last seen riding his purple bicycle in the area of his Bessey Home in Troy wearing a maroon sweatshirt.

According to Troy Police, Knight has left the home before but has usually returned within an hour or so.  The concern appears to be warranted, as his disappearance is now going on more than 3 full days.  Police say that in the past, he has been known to wander in parts of Saratoga Springs with which he's familiar.

According to the report, Knight is described as follows:

  • Trishtian Knight
  • 15-years-old
  • Blonde Hair/Blue Eyes
  • 130 lbs

If you see him please contact the police at 518-270-4411 or 911.  If you have any information regarding this case, you are asked to contact Detective Sergeant Ralph Southworth at 518-270-4429.
