The New Crop Of American Idol Judges – Do You Like Them?

There has been quite a turnover of judges at the good old American Idol table in recent years, and now they've done it again (and paying them huge bucks too!)  I have my doubts if it's gonna work this time.  Do you?

 Keith Urban, Maria Carey, Niki Minaj, Randy Jackson

Here's your new line-up.  Now here's my two cents and then I'll definitely ask for yours.  This is all based on first impressions, by the way.  You need someone to get mad at to make the show interesting, like the old Simon Cowell days.  How can you get mad at Keith Urban, the nicest guy on the planet?  Same thing with Maria.  I know she's had her issues in the past, but she's sweet and she's a mommy and hard to dislike.

Nicki is cooky and quirky.  That might work. She made some good points on the one episode I saw, but still not like the old Paula Abdul days.  And Randy Jackson can try to be cutting and cruel, but I like him too much as well.

I'm not saying that I like someone who's cruel.  I don't.  But that's why I think it makes for better tv.  I WANT someone that I can raise my fist to and scream at the screen and disagree with.  I don't think they have that with this crew.
