The Good News – A Superbowl Make A Wish Granted
I love Make A Wish, I really do wish I somehow had the resources all by myself to make all of these kid's wishes come true. Fortunately there are many people in the world who feel the same way and some of these kid's with terminal illness actually get to have a little dream come true even in the middle of their darkest times.
Daniel Dunkan is 14 and he lives in Olympia Washington, he has a life threatening illness that effects his eyes. Daniel wanted to go to the Superbowl but because of the short notice Make a Wish could only promise a trip to NEXT year's game. While that was great Daniel's favorite team is the Seahawks and they are in THIS year's game and next year he will probably be in treatment. Luckily a local Doctor got involved and got 3 tickets to this years game.
To top it off they got Daniel's favorite player, Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner to call his school to give him the news. It's great, the only thing I would do different is to have it all on speakerphone, even without though his reaction is priceless.
