This may sound stupid to a lot of people but it really is a problem for me.

I just started dating a girl I'm really attracted to. She's pretty, smart, and I like her a lot. There's just one problem: She chews with her mouth open.

I've actually started sitting right next to her when we go out to restaurants, just so I don't have to watch her chew.

Am I being shallow and over reacting? Would you keep dating someone who's good-looking, smart, and funny if they chewed with their mouth open?

And how can I tell my girlfriend that the only way I can keep dating her is if she closes her mouth when she chews?
