We now have an opening time frame for the upscale steak house that is being built on Wolf Road in Colonie.

It was announced back in April that a high-end steak house would be coming to the Capital Region. It is the first of its kind in the area. But then nothing else was known. Now there are signs that they are beginning construction.

The old Professor Java's Coffee Sanctuary on Wolf Road is finally being turned into something. There have been a ton of renovations being done to the building and the new restaurant will be opening soon.

There are plenty of steakhouses to choose from in the Capital Region. But there are only a few upscale restaurants that are known for steaks. A restaurant synonymous with high-quality cuts of USDA prime beef will be coming soon to Colonie.

Reel Seafood Co. has been a staple on Wolf Road for thirty-six years and today it is closed for good. The announcement was made through email this morning.

The former Wold's 1-11 location will be home to 2 new restaurants.
