Horrific gun violence has been plaguing our state and now Governor Cuomo is making a bold move to try to curtail it.

With an uptick of violence in Albany recently, the governor announced additional funds that would help various programs throughout the city. The goal is to curb violence in return.

For the first time in 50 years, they'll be carrying pistols in an attempt to better secure the safety of those enoying the lake as well as themselves. A sure sign of the times.

Crime is on the rise in Albany and business owners and some residents will tell you that safety is becoming a big problem in our capital city.  I've lived in Albany the majority of my life and I rarely, if ever, feel threatened.  Clearly though, I'm in the minority. Does Albany feel unsafe to you?

Just how desperate do you have to be to get sale items to start decking each other in the middle of a mall.  I swear, I just don't get it, but here it is on video (because you can't NOT watch)

It's so weird, but here's my observation for today. I guess it's become the sign of the times-- a horrific shooting and it's not even top of mind with anyone anymore.  Who's to blame for that?

Let me repeat.  Really? Really?  Is there anyone in America, young or old who thinks this is funny?  I'm steaming right now even thinking about it.  (Oh - I haven't explained what happened yet.  Sorry)
