Fonda-Fultonville may be changing their mascot and team name the "Braves", even after receiving encouragement from a Mohawk Nation chief.

The Fultonville, New York native and Season 8 'Voice' champ will perform a new single on the show this Tuesday night.

Season 10 of 'The Voice' kicks off very soon, but around here, folks are still talking about Season 8 winner, Fultonville's very own Sawyer Fredericks! He debuted his new single "Take It All" on Season 9 of "The Voice" and I knew as soon as I heard it that it was a hit...

Saywer Fredericks just announced his latest video is here on his Facebook Page. Saywer said, "It's Live! 😃 🎥 My video for ‪#‎TakeItAll‬ is live on Yahoo Music right now 😊Please share!! ‪#‎TakeItAllTuesday‬" What he may have left out in his modesty is that it is very good!

The excitement is building, even as we speak.  Sawyer Fredericks, from Fultonville, NY.  Right in our own back yard, for God sakes! Can he win The Voice?  And better yet, isn't there a song written about him yet?  Maybe not until now!

We've talked about Sawyer several times on the air.  We're cheering for him over here.  I know you are too if you live in the area (especially you Fultonvillians)

It's always a lot of fun doing these songs about  local towns. Plus it's also an education to learn the history of some of them. Fultonville,New York is no exception.

I received a call about a bottle drive that’s taking place on Saturday, August 2, and it’s to raise funds for research for Mitochondrial Disease.

When Lisa Vosburgh, the Music Teacher and Mary Sweet, the 4th Grade Teacher at FFCS heard that The Sean + Richie Show was heading into town, they got together and created a song for us!

Michael's Diner was kind enough to host the Sean + Richie Show as we rolled into town for the Small Town Tour. It was great to meet everyone and as always we had a great time.

Every Thursday we do 'Your Town Thursday', except for when we are on the Small Town Tour when we do it on Friday. It makes sense - just roll with it. In honor of being in Fultonville, I did a song about Fonda. Long story. Fultonville makes a cameo. True story - we were supposed to be in Fonda but there isn't a diner there, so we ended up in Fultonville. Check out the song!
