We’ve spent our fair share of bleary-eyed nights in front of computers and gaming consoles. But it never once occurred to us that we might, you know, have a problem. And yet, according to the American Psychiatric Association, this could be a sign of a serious addiction.

Here is the "Daily Dilemma" for today:

A While ago, we had a woman write in to ask if anyone else had a husband who was addicted to video games, today we got a turn around. This gentleman wrote in to say that his girlfriend was way too into her Facebook account, and said he'd rather not have to send her a Facebook request to get her attention. I figured it would at least make for a fun conversation on the air.

Interesting side note on the daily dilemma today, one woman called in and said, "I think there has to be better dilemmas than this", then proceeded to give her opinion on the problem. I said to her, everybody had different problems and there will always be somethings that you maybe can't relate to because you are not in their shoes, but if you think there are better "dilemmas"

It's the nectar of the gods for morning radio people.  We scramble for it every day.  We beg, even plead with each other to be the one to make the "run" each morning to the local Dunkin Donuts. This is survival, people! But maybe we're not using coffee the right way...

I'm about to tell you about a recent study from the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. I have to warn you , you may be shocked by their findings about your teenager. I say, YOUR teenager because I know mine and clearly, they are  angelsand would never do anything that I would object to, so it must be yours...

Sorry, folks.  I apologize in advance.  But this blog is going to be extremely brief.  I'm feeling a little "low".  Drained out, if you will.  And it's only Monday!!  Maybe it's because I skipped breakfast this morning, which I never do.  I need FOOOOOOOD!!

The University of Maryland just did a huge study on internet addiction in 10 different countries.  You may find the results a little alarming.

OK,  so I'm a failure.  It wasn't a new years resolution, but last Sunday morning I haphazardly announced to myself that I'm quitting smoking.  Three very hard days later I gave in and bought a pack of cigarettes.
